Me - Without the darkness we wouldn't see the light. Without sin there could be no grace. Without failure, no glory. But I believe there is more to the yin and yang of the universe than just this.
Those things that cause us anxiety and angst are not for us. Our specialness is being focused by these misgivings to those areas where our own expertise can thrive. Where we can contribute the most.
They also helps us identify where our weaknesses get in the way of our being Excellent. Those things where we need others to step in and help.
We are all in this together - the credo of the Security element of a Community of Excellence. If we are all committed to the others in our community then each of us can focus our individual specialness to an area where it can do the most good, for us and the others. In this way, we address more areas with the best resources available. So each of us is insulated from the anxieties as we insulate others.
For it to work, it has to be about more than merely me.
