Hello.  I'm happy to be on-line.

I am here to offer my thoughts and the mulling I do on excellence.

I think that our pursuit of excellence, and our assistance to others in their pursuit, can become an avenue to morality.  I believe in this premise, but I'm not so egocentric to allow myself the luxury of offering it to you as anything more than an idea worth your own consideration.

I will be posting my interpretations of the aspects of our world that highlight the power of excellence two or three times a week.  This introduction is intended to offer a guide to the key characteristics of my beliefs and thoughts.  At the core, is the fact that no one can be excellent alone.  We all were born with strengths and we all were born with weaknesses.  For us to be excellent we need to rely on the strengths of others to help us overcome our weaknesses.  Vice-versa, we are then compelled to offer our own strengths to help those others overcome their weaknesses.

To affect these exchanges of strengths, we involve ourselves in communities.  Us helping or partners and them helping us.  It is through our membership in communities of excellence that our interactions with our fellow humans bring about improvements, self and communal, that lead to a general increase in excellence.

I will be posting how I see this working.  Thank you for your attention.

Interesting ideas to "mull" over... Interested to see which news items you might consider as examples of your proposed "excellence in the community." I too am a believer in the power of the human spirit against the "evils" that can seep from the weakest of weak.
